Space for Students
Our Common Grounds building (at the corner of Rugby and Gordon) is open several days a week during the daytime this semester as a comfortable and peaceful study space with WiFi and free snacks and coffee/tea. It also provides a home for many of our student and young adult ministries. Check our social media for updated open hours and drop in!

Intentional Relationships
Undergrads, enjoy Coffee & Conversation Tuesdays at 4 p.m. as we explore how God is moving in the world around us and the challenging, hopeful, and grace-filled ways we are called to be Christ’s body in this community. Contact us for Zoom links/meeting locations. Also, take part in dynamic faith formation classes and discussions through Westminster.
Grad students looking for community outside your fields of study, come meet other people in their 20s, 30s, and 40s at our weekly Wednesday Wind-Down at 7 p.m. throughout the year. Currently, some gatherings are virtual and others are in-person. Contact us for Zoom links/meeting locations.
Westminster has an intergenerational mentorship program. Let us know if you’d like to be paired with a mentor or are interested in mentoring youth as as a tutor or Christian formation leader

Joyful Worship
All students are welcome in worship at Westminster on Sundays at 8:30 or 11 a.m. (or online). Sundays at 10 a.m., join UKirk for an outdoor pancake brunch and stay to watch worship projected on a screen. Contact us for the location of Pancakes & Worship and let us know if you’re interested in leading worship as a liturgist, speaker, or musician. Instrumentalists and vocalists are welcome in Westminster’s music ministries.

Care for Mind, Body, and Soul
If you’d like to talk with someone about spiritual questions, life experiences, or other things on your mind, our pastor is glad to listen and offer support. You’re welcome to reach out and schedule a time to meet for conversation around Grounds or virtually.

Engaged Faith
Service projects, peace and justice events, and service-learning trips are part of our vision. We participate in the Charlottesville CROP Hunger Walk, C’ville Pride, volunteer to serve meals or host guests through PACEM, and lead Westminster in collection drives for the UVA Food Pantry. UKirk also participates in interfaith and ecumenical programs with the Virginia Interfaith Coalition, Hillel, the Muslim Students Association, and other Christian fellowship groups on Grounds. We will post events on our social media as they occur.

Food and Fun
Last year, we hosted a mac & cheese contest, Friendsgiving dinner, pre-exams party with homemade cookies, open study hours during finals, a warming shelter during rush week, and a Super Bowl party. We look forward to more events such as these and will list them on our social media.
